Award for Excellence
In 2001, 2002 and 2003 we won the gala Fraser Coast/South Burnett Regional Tourism Awards for Tourism Excellence in Hosted Accommodation.
In 2004 we were entered into the Hall of Fame for Tourism Excellence in Hosted Accommodation.
This was a great achievement for both Ken and myself in putting together the entries and being at the Awards night to celebrate the many achievements for our region – the South Burnett.
We are very pleased with the continuing comments from guests, (usually with a funny recollection of their visit), who certainly appreciate the work we put into our business.
Business Award
This time we took out the award at the Kingaroy Business Award for Tourism Accommodation. The past 12 months proved to be a very busy and exhaustive year, and we are very privileged to meet so many wonderful families enjoying their holiday at ‘Passchendaele’.

Australia Day Award
In 2006 I was honoured to be nominated and win an Australia Day - Rural Award for volunteer work in my community. The presentation was made at the Kingaroy Shire Council Hall and the day recognised volunteers contribution from a variety of fields. |
